Marcia is an artist based in Toronto, CA. Growing up with her head deep in novels, dreams, magic and quests is a common theme for her. Eager to find her people in this big city, she created Notes de Mars as a space for creation and connection.
With a love for fashion, she delicately dressed up her little characters in their fight suits and take them on adventures. Her characters are a reflection of her growth and daily observations. Documenting the ebbs and flows in life, she hopes to encourage fellow dreamers to keep going, for miracles do happen. From live event illustration, painting, commissions to jewelry and product design, her art practice is multi faceted and aims to create a safe space for everyone to be the boldest warrior in their own life.
